La Cité du Vin is hosting the International Festival Oenovideo®, the oldest film festival about grapes and wine, created by Forum Oenologie. A unique encounter between the world of cinema and video, and winemaking heritage.
The second annual exhibition entitled “Georgia, Cradle of World Viticulture” will be held from 31 July to 5 November 2017, at La Cité du Vin.
Taking the needs of disabled persons into account improves the comfort for everyone’s visit. On 22nd March 2017, La Cité du Vin was granted the State Tourism and Disability accreditation for the four types of disability: auditory, mental, physical and visual.
In less than a week, La Cité du Vin will present its first major temporary exhibition, "Bistro! From Baudelaire to Picasso". From March 17th to June 21st 2017, discover some one hundred works which combine traditional media with photography and cinema.
From Friday 24 to Sunday 26 of February, La Cité du Vin invites you to travel to Italy for a weekend, to the terroirs of Conegliano Valdobbiadene to discover Prosecco Superiore, a great DOCG (Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin) sparkling wine produced in the region of Veneto. Tastings, a DJ mix, a conference, a film and a brunch will provide the opportunity to discover the cultural riches of a unique wine-producing region.
