Maison Monblanc was founded in 1946 by Simone and André Monblanc. It was originally a butcher’s and delicatessen with 2 shops located in Saint-Jean-d’Illac and Martignas-sur-Jalle, in the Gironde area.
In 1992, Bernard Monblanc, their son and the current director, decided to breathe new life into the family business and launched a catering and events business line.
Monblanc is now a leader in catering for gastronomic events in the south west of France and further afield. Bernard Monblanc is assisted by his son Morgan Monblanc and teams of passionate professionals including chefs, maîtres d’hôtel and salespeople.
Why are we patrons of La Cité du Vin?
The winegrowing sector has always been a source of business for Maison Monblanc. The trust placed in us year after year by châteaux, wine businesses and traders has contributed in no small way to the reputation and prosperity of our company.
Through this patronage, we wished to highlight this long-standing relationship, to affirm our gratitude to the sector and support this unique world heritage.
For us, La Cité du Vin is an outstanding world ambassador for our wine region and we are very proud to be a patron!
