Share a unique moment at La Cité du Vin

The permanent exhibition to discover the cultureS AND CIVILISATIONS of wine

Embark on a sensory adventure in an open exhibition space occupying more than 3,000 m², nearly 20 different themed areas invite you to take a voyage of discovery and enjoy a unique experience exploring the many and varied facets of wine across time and space.
A visit to the Permanent exhibition also includes the visit companion, a free, innovative tool available in 8 languages (French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Dutch) and the access to La Cité du Vin’s Belvedere, where you will discover a 360° view of Bordeaux whilst tasting a glass of world wine or grape juice.
If you prefer to be guided through the Permanent exhibition, our teams have designed four different themed visits.

If the Permanent exhibition is the heart of the visit, the Cité du Vin has plenty of other experiences in store. In an area of more than 700m², La Cité du Vin is organising a big temporary exhibition each spring on varying cultural and artistic themes, bringing together works of art from leading international museums and private collections.
In 2020, The Cité du Vin deals with mythology in its new temporary artistic exhibition: Drinking with the gods, which aims to reveal the links established between wine, gods and men.
